Let's Do Science

Science Alberta Foundation is pleased to present a revised edition of Let’s Do Science, a guide for the implementation of the 1996 Elementary Science Program of Studies (Alberta Learning). Since the first printing, elementary teachers across Alberta have found this guide to be a useful tool in planning, implementing and evaluating hands-on science programs in their classrooms.

The Let’s Do Science website provides you with the flexibility to search for specific instructional planning information by grade, topic and keyword search. You can incorporate the suggestions provided there within your own long-range, short-range and daily planning.

Copies of the Let’s Do Science resource have been gifted to all elementary school libraries (public, separate, private, and charter) in the province as well as the Education Facility libraries at the University of Calgary and University of Lethbridge. This was made possible through generous support from the Nickle Family Foundation, Exxon Mobile and Brad and Tanya Zumwalt.

It is available in print, CD and PDF formats. Visit the Let’s Do Science website for additional information on this fantastic program.
