Annual Gift
Annual giving is an opportunity for you to demonstrate your commitment to science literacy and awareness by providing funding to Science Alberta Foundation that will be used where there is our greatest need. This may be expansion of programs to meet increasing demand or the development of new activities on Wonderville.ca.
Contributions to Science Alberta Foundation may be made on an annual or a monthly basis, which will:
- See small monthly donations quickly add up to significant contributions
- Assist with long term planning
- Be easy! You can sign up for monthly donations to be charged to your credit card.
As an annual donor you will receive:
- A charitable tax receipt;
- Recognition in our annual report, on our website, and in our “Bright Ideas” newsletter (unless you indicate that you prefer to remain anonymous);
- An activity report outlining programs supported by your funding; and,
- Satisfaction knowing that your gift will have impact on the development of children and youth.
Planned Gift
A gift made to Science Alberta Foundation through your will is a meaningful opportunity for you to participate in charitable and community activities in a way that allows the work of this organization to be well supported now and long into the future. Surprisingly, such a gift can also be a very practical addition to a financial or estate plan when tax issues are taken into consideration — even for those who don’t think they have tax issues. Matching Gift
When you are making a gift to Science Alberta Foundation, check to see if your company has a “matching gifts” program. Many companies will donate the same amount their employees contribute to their favorite charities. Please check with your Human Resources Department for a matching gifts form and submit it with your gift to:
